How To Change When I Don't Know How

Updated 04-Oct-2020 - First Published 02-Aug-2019 by Debi Douglas

It takes time to change any particular area in our lives. This is especially true if we've been accustomed to doing the same thing over and over again for a very long time.

There is a saying that goes something like this :

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result.
Well-known saying

Change is often difficult to achieve. The key factor is determination and such a desire for change that you will do whatever it takes.

You have to work at it as real change does not come easily. Be dedicated to therapy. Apply the necessary interventions in your life daily.

Massive change is a lot easier when you are working with a therapist who has the right professional skills to guide you and help you master techniques for success.

Contact a therapist and get started. Then be open and honest with yourself. Don't be afraid to soul-search. Set goals. Takes small specific and attainable steps. Go for it. You can do this. Persevere to the end
